The term "platform" is used a lot when talking about DHIS2 - we have the Platform product stream, the Platform development team, and the Application Platform. DHIS2 is also referred to as a platform for many health initiatives around the world. All of these are accurate, but they are also incomplete - DHIS2 as a whole is designed as a platform for extension and adaptation. Join us as we explore the ways the core development team at the University of Oslo is embedding extensibility and platform thinking into every part of DHIS2, and in particular hear the latest updates about our Application Platform, Android SDK, and developer community initiatives.
